Analysis: Engram led the team in targets and receptions, marking the third time he's been targeted at least 10 times in his last five games. He didn't post a particularly impressive yardage total with the opportunity, though he did manage his fourth touchdown of the season on a 14-yard catch early in the final quarter. Engram ends the season with an impressive 114 receptions and is penciled into a key role with the Jaguars again in 2024.

Gets second opinion on foot injury
Engram (foot) is set to receive a second opinion on his injury from foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson, who will review the results of the MRI the tight end underwent following Monday's 37-18 loss to the Cowboys, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: The fact that the tight end underwent an MRI is new information, as coach Pat Shurmur only noted in his media session Tuesday that Engram was dealing with a "little bit of a sore foot" in the aftermath of the Week 9 game. With Engram sitting out Wednesday's practice, there's reason to believe his injury might be more serious than the Giants initially seemed to let on. Expect Shurmur to provide another update on Engram's situation after practice concludes Wednesday.

Not seen at practice

Analysis: Coach Pat Shurmur acknowledged that Engram missed the final series of the Giants' 37-18 loss to the Cowboys on Monday due to a sore foot, so the tight end looks like he'll be receiving some extra maintenance during the short week. Tending to sore foot
Coach Pat Shurmur said that Engram is tending to a sore foot in the aftermath of Monday's 37-18 loss to the Cowboys, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Analysis: The injury prevented Engram from playing during the Giants' final offensive series, but the tight end still contributed six catches for 48 yards on eight targets and ran once for a two-yard gain before departing. Per Dan Duggan of The Athletic, Shurmur indicated the Giants will see how Engram looks in practice as the week unfolds before the 25-year-old's status for Sunday's game against the Jets in determined.

Engram caught six of eight targets for 48 yards in Monday night's 37-18 loss to the Cowboys.
Analysis: He tied Saquon Barkley and Golden Tate for New York's team lead in receptions, with the former also matching Engram's target total atop that category. Despite the high involvement, however, quarterback Daniel Jones wasn't able stretch the field much, resulting in Engram's fifth straight game with under 55 yards. He'll hope to buck that trend in Week 10 against a Jets defense currently surrendering the ninth-most passing yardage per game.
