Hightower (pectoral) was a limited participant in OTAs on Thursday, Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald reports.

Analysis: Having been sidelined since late October, Hightower appears on pace to be ready for training camp -- the initial goal. Before the 2017 campaign, Hightower had five straight seasons with 60-plus tackles. For those looking to utilize Hightower in IDP settings, it's important to note he hasn't played more than 13 games in a season since 2013.

Griffin was shifted to left corner back during OTAs, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis: This is the spot once manned by four-time Pro Bowler Richard Sherman, who signed with the 49ers in March. It's unclear if this move is because Byron Maxwell isn't attending OTAs, or if this will be Griffin's permanent position. If the latter is true, it'll be interesting to see how Griffin adjusts to the new position after racking up 59 tackles and 15 pass breakups in his rookie campaign. Regardless, Griffin should see an uptick in responsibility with the departure of Sherman.

Foster's misdemeanor charge for possession of marijuana was dismissed Friday after the linebacker successfully completed a diversion course, Matt Barrows of The Sacramento Bee reports.

Analysis: Separate from the felony domestic violence charges that were dropped Wednesday, Foster was previously in legal trouble for a Jan. 12 event in which the linebacker was charged with a second-degree misdemeanor for possession of marijuana. Despite those chargers being dropped, Foster could still be subject to the NFL's substance-abuse policy in 2018.

Conner (knee) has been practicing at OTAs, ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler reports.

Analysis: A third-round pick last year, Conner was limited to 32 carries for 144 yards while rarely seeing the field behind Le'Veon Bell, with Conner's season coming to an end Week 15 when he suffered an MCL injury. Seemingly back at full strength, Conner figures to be in the mix for first-team reps throughout OTAs and June minicamp, as Bell isn't expected to join the team until the end of the preseason unless he signs a contract extension. The second-year back is competing with Jaylen Samuels, Fitzgerald Toussaint, Stevan Ridley and a couple undrafted rookies.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco suggested that Crabtree has stood out most among the team's new wide receivers during OTAs, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. "[Crabtree's] the guy," said Flacco. "Because he's got a little different way that he runs the routes. He's really crafty with it, and he knows when to break away from guys and how to get open"

Analysis: Baltimore swapped out Mike Wallace, Jeremy Maclin and Michael Campanaro for Crabtree, John Brown and Willie Snead -- with Crabtree's three-year, $21 million contract easily ranking first among the bunch. While a clear favorite to lead his new team in targets and red-zone opportunities, the 30-year-old wideout may struggle for efficiency in an offense that produced a league-worst 5.7 yards per pass attempt last season. However, he at least seems to be earning Flacco's trust rather quickly, after doing the same with Derek Carr in Oakland the past three years.
